Being an NGO, we are working for Society and welfare programs. Currently we are in need to funds to support and feed poor, homeless, daily wage and migrant laborers who are struggling from hunger during lock down period due to Covid-19.
Expodian Educational & Welfare trust is a registered non government organization committed to the development and empowerment of the education system in India. As you all are aware about current situation of complete lockdown across India due to Covid-19. We have started share a meal campaign to support poor community (daily wage workers, migrant laborers and pavement population) by providing free food during the lockdown period of 21 days in India. Our aim is to feed as many as people we can. We are distributing food to various locations including 100+ shelter homes located in Delhi and satisfy the hunger of around 9000 people every day.
Currently we are in need to funds to feed theses poor communities who are struggling from hunger during lock down period. Where will we use these funds?
The Corona virus outbreak is affecting all of us. But only some of us have access to essential services, hygiene facilities and the safety of our homes. Millions of people in India are more deprived from basic necessities because lack of availability of food, healthcare and sanitization facilities due to no income generation during lock down. Currently we are feeding 9000 people everyday and distributing free ration to people during lock down from our self funding resources. We would request to general public to come ahead and be a part of the mission, so that we can feed more people during this tough time. Together, we can overcome this crisis.
