I along with some of my friends are working in rural fabric region of Uttar Bastar of Chhattisgarh for promotion of livelihood. I am associated with an NGO and working towards enhancement of livelihood of community of the region. I am working here for more than a decade and have given enormous training to build capacity of rural community around livelihood enhancement, gender equality, INRM, Health and sanitation, Nutrition and livestock. While economic enhancement is taking place but rural education is remaining as a challenge. Children of this area get very poor access to good education. Even though more than two lakh teachers are putting their all efforts to improve literacy levels but still standard of a child is remains far below than a child from urban areas.
To improve the quality of education these children need extra care. So, I along with some of my friends want to take out some time for the initiative to run a parallel educational institution where we bring young and intellectual minds from reputed institutions and run free educational institution in rural fabric region of Baster of Chhattisgarh.
To do so, we need different type of resources and need to develop a teaching institution for which we need financial support. Our plan is to develop 25 teaching institutions over a period of five years in this region to promote healthy education such that children from this area would have equal opportunity to compete with other children in the state and can get a meaningful livelihood.
