My name is Rajkamal Srivastava and I am raising funds for Ajay Patani. He hails from a poor family (his dad was a street fruit vendor )- but he studied hard and became a primary school teacher in Gandhinagar, India. His family is self-respecting and never took help (the only little help I did was free tuition to Ajay in 2005).
Two weeks ago, he was diagnosed with Dawson disease that led to complete loss of memory and sight. He is admitted to SVP Hospital, Ahmedabad where doctors are trying their best to treat this rare disease.

While treatment is free, his family still has to bear the cost of medicines and tests. This is beyond family means. He has a wife and a 5-year-old daughter and is the main earner of the family. His brother Prakash Patani is a cab driver and exhausted his family savings for Ajay's treatment.
