Bongaon Dayboddhota Welfare Society- a social philanthropic, secular, non-political organisation being registered under the West Bengal Societies Registration Act, 1961 with Reg. No. S0005774 of 2019-2020. Our motto is Development, Protection and Empowerment of Women, Development and Protection of Children and Protection of Environment. Just a few months ago we started our journey. Our team consists of Legal Practitioners, Teachers, Persons from different parts of Society and Students. From the very first day, we started working for the betterment of the needy and poor children.

We support those children in their education by providing them books khatas dresses schools and foods. We also arranged Self defence training for the girl child above 5 years. Not only that we have made a detailed survey report on their families e.g total number of family members, food habits, source of income, monthly income, interests, obligations, priority etc and on the basis of that report we are supporting them to make them economically strong by giving them vocational and other money earning training so that they don't have need to make their children money-earning machines.

We named this project as 'Smile'. Presently we don't have any source of fund. We run this project in our personal contribution. But due to limitations and shortage of fund, we are not able to run our 'Smile' anymore. There are 50 families under this project. The budget set up for this project primarily is 250,200/- per annum. Beside this, for the needy and weaker madhyamik students, we are arranging 'Madhyamik Uttaran' project in which we will provide them free guidance for consecutive 3 months starting from the month of November for their upcoming madhyamik examination. We appointed 7 specialist and expert teachers for 7 different subjects to guide those students suggestively so that they can score pass mark at least in their madhyamik examination.

We are providing teachers' remuneration from our own pockets due to insufficient funds. The budget fixed for this UTTARAN project every year is 25,000/-. We badly need your support and contribution in our fund. We are organising various awareness campaigns also  on Child marriage, Protection of women, Tree plantation, Water conservation, Plastic pollution and Dengue. We distribute awareness pamphlets. Parallelly we are fighting against Plastic pollution. This project is being run under our 'Paribesh Bandhu Sibir'. On every fourth saturday of each month we set up this Sibir and ask people to deposit sufficient plastic waste materials in our camp and in return we offer them various food items depending upon the quantity of plastic. We also arrange this camp on wheel in different parts of North 24 Parganas district.

Our aim in this project is to make our environment cleaner and healthier. We send those plastics to the recycling plants. Every month our expenditure for is purpose is about Rs- 15,000/- (fifteen thousand). We want you to support our noble work. We also request you to kindly support us in our fund. Without your help, our aims, missions and works will  lost its hope.

An overall scenario of yearly expenditure:-

'SMILE' Project: Every day expenses on each of 50 families is Rs 417/-. Per month expenses for total of 50 families is (417/- * 50)= 20,850/-. Hence expenses per annum (20,850/- * 12)= 250,200/-.

Awareness Programme: Four awareness programmes are arranged in a year and every awareness programme costs Rs 5,000/-. Hence, total expenses for this programme per year is (5,000/- * 4)= 20,000/-

'UTTARAN' Project: Remuneration of 7 teachers per month Rs 8,100/-. For 3 months (8,100 * 3)= 24,300/- and cost of test papers and others Rs 700/-. Hence, total expenses for this project per year is Rs 25,000/-.

'PARIBESH BANDHU SIBIR': Nearly 200 men and women are provided with foods and grocery items every month. Per head, it takes Rs 60/-. For 200 people it costs (200 * 60/-)= 12,000/- per month and For segregation and transportation purpose expenses is about Rs 3,000/-. Per month total expenses is Rs 15,000/-. Hence, yearly expenses is (15,000 * 12)= 180,000/-.

So, the total expenditure per annum (250,200/-+20,000/-+25,000/-+180,000/-)= 475,200/- (Four Lacs Seventy Five thousand Two hundred only).
