Shashi Kiran Charitable Trust has partnered with The Moon Catcher Project, USA – a philanthropic organization based in Albany, New York and the Inosculation Hub, a research and capacity development organization to provide essential menstrual health products free of cost to adolescents and migrants workers in India. The centerpiece of Moon Catcher’s activity is a reusable washable menstrual kit. These kits will be provided free of cost to adolescent girls and migrant workers during the pandemic. Local women had been sewing reusable menstrual kits, the donations will help secure both their livelihoods and ensure hygiene for hundreds of migrant workers who have been put out of work and are now stranded. All materials and sewing equipment are sourced locally.
The Corona Virus Pandemic had put a stop to the production of these hand-sewn menstrual products due to the lockdown and we now need your help in restarting the production units so these products can be provided free of cost to the target communities.
