Aditya Pandey belongs to a small village in Giridih district of Jharkhand state.  he used to earn 4k to 5k monthly by doing PUJA in a temple in Giridih. He suddenly felt abnormalities in his kidney this January 2019. He went to SGPGI Lucknow, where he was diagnosed with rare kidney disease. Creatinine level in his body was found be 16.1 whereas a healthy adult has 0.6-1.6. Doctors over there suggested him to immediately infuse some bloods and manage for both kidneys transplantation. His helpless wife tried to admit him in SGPGI Emergency ward but it went futile as hospital admin ignored it. Somehow one of his friend, who works as labor in Meerut took him to Ranchi, Where he started consultation with a doctor but excessive cost compelled him to leave Ranchi and went to Koderma. For some days, he took treatment in a hospital in Koderma but he couldn't manage their's charges as well and He went to his home district, Giridih. There he started taking monthly dialysis in rotary club. He has to get the dialysis done every week and he finds it tough to manage even 10k to 15k of monthly cost. Helps and donations from societies and NGOs have ensured his life till date after diagnosis. He is in dire need of kidney transplant to save himself, his helpless poor family and two small children with no formal source of income. He was the single bread earner of his family. He is in urgent need of kidney transplant as he is not able to manage even the monthly cost of dialysis. He has spoken to a hospital regarding transplant using AAYUSHMAN BHARAT health card but that only covers cost upto 5 lac Rs. He needs additional 10 Lacs Rs to get his transplant done.
