My name is Janvi Balwani. I am starting this fundraiser to raise funds for the treatment of my father Mr. Neeraj Balwani. Neeraj caught the covid infection in April this year which severely affected his lungs and caused Lung damage and Acute Respiratory Distress Syndrome.
He was on Ventilator in Fortis Escorts, Faridabad and when his condition deteriorated he was shifted on ECMO support since past 6 days in Maharaja Agrasen Hospital, Punjabi Bagh but his lungs aren't showing any signs of recovery.
An alternate treatment option suggested by doctors is "Lung Transplant" which can prove beneficial for Neeraj's condition. The suggested treatment locations in India, with better success rates are Hyderabad or Chennai. The cost of this complete treatment is close to 1.9 crores.
Neeraj has a daughter and his wife is a part time teacher. The only earning member in the family is his wife Aditi Balwani.
Aditi, who is running pillar to pole to save her husband, is the beneficiary of this fund raiser.
