My son Adil Bash Rahil, age 24 years, is presently under treatment for Guillain-Barré syndrome (GBS) in a Hospital in Jubilee Hills, Hyderabad. GBS affects the immune system and paralyzes the muscles, and the ability to speak and breathe.
He was admitted 2 weeks back when he was suffering from Viral (Dengue) and then his kidney got infected. However, he recovered from the kidney infection.
But now the infection has spread to lungs/throat, hands, leg and he is kept on the ventilator. He is conscious and is nodding his head but unable to speak.
He is admitted to ICU, He needs intubation and breathing support in an intensive care unit as part of treatment. This acute phase is followed by intensive rehabilitation to improve activities of daily living.
By profession, I am a Chauffeur, and he the only Son. I managed the expense (12 Lacs) to date with the support from Adil's organization, family and friends however now I am finding it difficult to meet the hospital expenses.

Currently, he is running on a ventilator (Life support system) and everyday expenses are 70000 per day. The doctor says it will take at least 3 more weeks for him to come out of danger and our family needs financial support.
