I have read many books this lock down. I have seen a drastic change in my personality and thinking pattern. For a second I thought about those kids in orphanages and senior citizens in old age homes. They do not have the chance to amuse and develop themselves through reading books. "Books are form of political action. Books are knowledge. Books are reflection. Books change your mind"-Toni Morrison. If we can relish the advantages of books then why not them. We have excuses of not donating money or going to donate books to such places. But this fundraiser provides a platform to give customized set of books according to the needs of orphanages and old-age homes . Let us make a library in every orphanage and old age home by are small contribution and loads of love. This fundraiser is for collecting your hearty contributions for a child's development and providing support to senior citizens. 50% of children in India and several old age homes are not accessible to reading books. Reading books is just not a commodity but a necessity. India is a growing country. It's growth can only be fueled by educated and well read citizens. Call for a Cause Foundation has made this easier by starting a Book Fundraiser to provide a customized set of books according to each orphanage and old-age home's needs. This is what makes this fundraiser different from others. Our goal to provide a better platform for kids will not stop at any cost. We have shortlisted and outlined top books according to possible needs in 4 languages including: English, Hindi, Marathi and Gujarati. We have conducted various surveys and shortlisted the type of books we want to provide. You are only one click away from contributing in India's Dream. We provide 15-20 books per set. Our price per set is ₹3200. We have got high books at incredibly low prices. We have identified many such orphanages and old-age homes who need our support especially in COVID-19. We want to keep this initiative going as long as possible. If we get positive donations then we will be looking to extend this fundraiser.
