The Vini - 6 team is back.
Loknete Yashwantrao Chavan Vidya Niketan 6 is one of the largest government run schools in Yerwada, Pune. It has 960 students in grades Jr. KG to 8th.
Project Rooh at Vini -6 is an awareness program aimed to address the sexual abuse among children of the community. The school team has felt the need to identify, evaluate and take the correct steps to address the issue, with an aim to empower the students, teachers and parents with appropriate measures, in order to eliminate the adverse impacts of the abuse on children and consequently, their learning.
The program will be spearheaded by Foundation for Child Protection with 24 sessions spread across a duration of three months. It includes programs for all stakeholders involved at the school - parents, staff and the kids themselves.
Below is the breakdown of costs:
Student Sessions: Rs. 750 X 15 sessions
Parent Sessions: Rs. 1,500 X 8 sessions
Staff Session: Rs. 2,000 X 1 session
