Adarsh Brijith is suffering from Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy (Exon12 Nonsense Mutation), a genetic disorder detected at the age of 5. It is a progressive life-threatening disease. He is receiving medication at Baptist Hospital under Dr. Ann Agnes Mathew (Consultant Paediatric Neurologist / Neuromuscular Diseases). KMC No. 61273

Until now, we've spent about Rs. 30 Lakhs for various medical equipment such as - Caliper, Splint, Ramp, Wheelchair, Muscle toning, and stretching machine along with regular physiotherapy and oral medication.

In the next few days, we would approximately require INR 15 Cr as the treatment will continue for 3 Years, 4.9 Cr per annum (5,76,000 Euros p.a.) to procure the medicine Translarna (Ataluren) - Encl. certificate from the treating physician. This medicine would help him improve and will stop deterioration. Kindly help him procure this medication.
