Shivam and his friends are the kids of our society's staff- sweepers, watchmen, etc. We have been tutoring these kids for the last 7-8 months only to realise that they need a lot more help than we can provide.

Total no. of kids- 22 (of ages from 4 to 16 years)

Even though many have clothes (torn, three sizes too short or two size too big), they don't have much else. Especially due to the lack of internet and gadgets (poverty), they have barely learned much in the last few covid years. No zoom schools or learning from home for them.

With savings and help, we have initiated efforts to clothe them, get them books and tutor them.

With the funds, we plan to hire more tutors, get computers to help accelerate their learning and some slippers and undergarments for better hygiene.

All of this to give them a fighting chance to break out of the 'room' that is their house.

These kids have the potential to have a successful career, to make a better life for themselves than what they were given due to circumstances out of their control. And no child should be bound by the shackles of their birth if they have the capability to shape their future.

We are not asking for alms or pity, just some helping hands.
