Dear All,
My husband, Achyutananda Nayak (58 years old retired person), is suffering from kidney failure from last 1 year . He was the sole bread-earner of our family with 3 kids (2 sons, 1 daughter aged 19, 15, 14 years respectively). Even after his retirement, with the savings and help from family/friends, we have spent INR 3,00,000 since last 1 year.
Currently he is being treated in a Shifa hospital in Cuttack, Odisha. Because of the kidney failure, he has to undergo routine dialysis sessions (twice per week). We have been spending INR 20,000 per month on kidney dialysis and medicines. Nowadays it is becoming difficult to arrange money for the dialysis without any financial income (with the education and other necessary expenditure of teenage kids). I am also discussing with SCB medical in Cuttack for kidney transplant which will require INR 15,00,000. I need to raise the money by 15th August 2021.
Cost Break-up:
We've arranged all expenditure so far from savings & loans. Getting regular dialysis treatments, usually two times a week for four hours at a time, will help my husband survive. - Each dialysis session costs ~ ₹2600 (₹1100 hospital charges + ₹1500 dialysis equipment & consumables)
