Hi, This is Abisack V. I am a 27 years old unemployed currently, was working as a software engineer earlier. My father is a fisherman and he is the sole bread earner for our family now. I was diagnosed with cancer at the age of 23. The cancerous tumor was initially spotted in my Rectum and I had gone through 12 chemotherapies, 25 radiations, 1 major surgery and 2 minor surgeries. With all these struggles I have successfully crossed 1.5 years and after that I was totally cancer free for almost 1 year. I was very punctual in all my general checkups for every 3 months. In one of my checkups in 2017 December it was identified that a small rise in my CEA (Carcino Embryonic Antigen) level and I was advised to take a PET SCAN and it was discovered that I have a METASTASIS (Cancer spread in the other part of the body) in my Lungs and in some of the Lymph nodes. Doctors told me that my body was no more strong enough to accept the chemotherapy and it was a waste of time since the disease is not completely curable. Instead they have advised me some oral medication for eight months and asked me to do a PET SCAN again in 2018 December. It showed the disease was very aggressive and spreaded over to my liver and bones as well. So I became very sick. My life became abnormal. I could not even walk, breathe properly. Now in another hospital(KMCH, Coimbatore) doctors advised me a 12 cycles of chemotherapy. Now with God's grace I am done with 4 chemotherapies and I can see the improvement in me. For all these I have spent almost 15 lakhs. Relatives and friends have supported me very well in the initial stage. Now everyone are empty and I am clueless about my treatment. We are affected a lot with my disease. Our life has completely changed. Our survival became a question mark now. It would be really helpful if you can afford me anything you can.
