In the past few weeks, the ongoing second wave is ravaging wide swathes of Rural India, which is short of medical facilities like Beds, Ventilators, Oxygen concentrators and cylinders.

The recent Panchayat elections have played a huge role for the widespread of Covid-19 in rural areas of Uttar Pradesh. In many villages of Meerut District - Khardauni, Sadharanpur Khurd, Rehdra and Chabariapeople have to go to quacks in the rural areas for treatment. After that when their condition worsens, are they rushed to hospitals.

In Ballia district, the villagers have to spend extra charges for basic facilities to save their lives. People are mostly dependent on their local doctor to cure basic ailments like fever, cough and body aches because many of them are unaware of Covid-19 Virus.

There is a lack of infrastructure and basic facilities in the villages, shortage of doctors and medical facilities like oxygen cylinders and concentrators. In rural areas of UP, there is a huge demand for Ambulances to ferry patients to hospitals, but due to an acute shortage of oxygen, the administration is forced to turn them away.

Talking about the poor health network, people in the villages have to rush to the city hospitals as they don’t have X-Ray and Blood Testing facilities in their area.

Among the foremost concerns now is Oxygen. People are helpless and many of them are dying due to unavailability of Cylinders and concentrators.

This Fund Raising campaign has been started so that the amount raised can be used to make Oxygen Cylinders, concentrators and medicines, available at Primary and Community health centres across Khardauni, Sadharanpur Khurd, Rehdra and Chabaria villages (In Meerut District) and help people who are getting critical with Covid-19.

I will be forever grateful to each and every individual who would contribute whatever amount possible to save these human lives.

Thank you,
