Few months before, I was talking with some poor village people during my travel in a local train. We were having the discussion about the growth, development and education. Their major concern was the education which their kids were not able to get there was not quality education as well as being very poor they were unable to afford the education essentials like pen, paper and books. Many of the families in the village areas were even unable to afford their necessary expenses like food, water, and clothes. And so at that position they were unable to contribute few amounts on their educational expenses. If the kids will not get education, then they will always be at the same position where they are.
From my childhood, I came seeing the problems, tears and challenges of their fathers and mothers who dream of providing them a quality education for their good future. But they are unable to do so. The main reason behind their poverty is also the lack of education only. Sometimes, they are forced send their kids to work in small shops like tea shops, pan ki dukan, chicken store, construction places with holding heavy materials in tiny hands. Many times they meet accident, and suffer huge pain.
Having going through the major problems, I really wanted to help these generation by filling the gaps in between. At my childhood days, I was unable to do so because I was a child only at that time, but I thought of doing something once I grow up. So the time came, and I now started living in Patna. I wanted to join an NGO working for child education support and so I started searching them. I found a lot of NGOs and became happy to know that there are so many NGOs working for the same mission. I met all of them as I really wanted to join their mission. Many of them got awarded by reputed personalities like Chief Minister. But it's very sad to state that, with all the people I met to join their mission, they were not looking like charitable person but just greedy. There were not much effort made by them but on newspaper and media, it was a huge contribution and the whole was full of their journey. At any angle, I haven't found them and struggling and doing worth for the poor kids. There were no values which they have added in the poor kid’s life. There was only 90% focus and attention, but the work was only10%.
I was really frustrated and broken of these facts. But anyhow, we have organised some social programs and competitions working together with them. But after going through their trends and wrong practices, I couldn't allow myself to work with them and so I have decided to make the things possible and solve the issues without having any NGO name attached with it. We will do our works with the support of community and will make this possible.
So at the beginning level, I am now providing them educational essentials like paper, pen and notebooks. Now, I am moving on massive production to help these children on a larger scale.
Our Funding Source: We have received some funds from some kind hearted local people, and now we are here to raise funds through Milaap.
Fund Requirements: We are looking for funds for manufacturing and supplying of quality notebooks to their hands without any compromise or middle man.
We are manufacturing 10,000 quality notebooks and we will get it distributed with the hands of public to different areas among the poor kids. Anyone who wish to donate notebooks with their own hands can join with me and we will together donate it.
So, the minimum cost of printing these quality notebooks is Rs. 37 per piece excluding shipping and GST Rates. So, we have to raise a total of 3,70,000 for this mission. The shipping and gst will be taken care by locals who have decided to give their funds and provide shipping service as well.
We are raising Rs. 50,000 for the first time from Milaap and hope we achieve this and reach our mission.
Looking forward with hopes.
Thank you everyone and Milaap for your supports.
