My Name is Aakash Goel. I am a computer science graduate from SRM University Haryana (2013-2017).
I am currently preparing for the Civil Services Examinations (CSE) conducted by the Union Public Service Commission of The Republic of India.
I have appeared in the CSE twice and appeared for the Mains examination once but unfortunately couldn't clear it. I am hoping to clear it in my next attempt.
I have represented my country as part of a 10 member contingent who were selected from all across India through a very competitive and a rigorous selection process for the inaugural edition of the India-Bhutan Youth Summit 2018 held in September (21-29) in The Kingdom of Bhutan.

I have volunteered (unpaid) for the organisation Sewa International (Dec 2 - Mar 2) in the Pithoragarh district of Uttarakhand to help the women in the rural areas achieve financial independence through the model of Micro-Finance. It was a great learning experience.
I have also been a delegate at the Vision India Foundation's Policy BootCamp Programme 2018 held in Delhi-Ncr. I was one among the 100 delegates selected from all across the world for this residential programme on Public Policy and Governance. https://visionindiafoundation.com/bootcamp/ex-delegates/
I am looking to fund raise for the HPAIR 2019 conference to be held in Kazakhstan in Aug 16-20. It is a world famous conference held bi-annually. Once in Harvard itself (300 delegates) and another in any part of Asia (500 delegates). It is a platform where candidates from each and every corner of the world come on a pedestal to discuss issues facing our society and engage in energizing conversations. These delegates are chosen through a quite competitive selection process which involves a thorough assessment of the Application and an interview. However for some exceptional candidates, they are offered direct acceptance letter without the interview stage. I am highly privileged that i was one of them.

I intend to learn maximum from this highly prestigious conference by being a part of it; by forming exciting life-long relationships and networks. Hence i firmly believe that my inability to pay for the entire accommodation, travel expenses, and the registration fees for the conference will not come in my way of being a part of it.
The track that i have been given is Global Economy and International Relations and i wish to make a place for myself in the public services of my country by working towards the betterment of the financial economy and helping my fellow brethren from the vagaries of unemployment and poverty. I believe that this conference will certainly help me in importing the ideas of other developing and developed economies to my country and work towards its development.
The entire expenses for this 5-Day conference are estimated at around 80,000 - 90,000 INR.
I wish to raise a part of this expense through this campaign as i can incur the registration cost of 33,000 INR based on contributions from friends and family.
