Mothi Jui, from Uran Taluka, is a village with a population of five thousand people. This village which is far away from the cities, does not have ambulance facilities, nor a government dispensary. Because of this, a large number villagers have to face huge difficulties for medical assistance. During the pandemic the village has been safe due to various initiatives taken by the Gram Panchayat. However, in the future if the COVID-19 cases go up, or there are other medical emergencies, there is no availability of any vehicles to move the patients to the hospitals. The villagers are appealing to social organisations and philanthropic people to come forward and donate so that an ambulance can be purchased for the village. The taxes collected by the gram panchayat are too less to afford an ambulance and they need our help.
