WE TOOK THE DOG TO THE VET
I saw this stray dog on the street in Mayur Vihar, Delhi area, when I asked the local people they said she has had multiple health issues and is only 4 years old, she isn’t able to move and is malnourished. She had also given birth recently but lost all of the new newborn puppies. To give her a new life we need to get her treated in a private vet clinic which I estimate will come to the total of 10,000 rupees. I'm not taking her to a government hospital due to past experiences, last time when I rescued a stray dog they overcharged me the medicines (more than the MRP) & they even took the fees.
I also tried to contact nearby NGOs but they asked me to bring her into their offices, which is not possible as she is a stray dog and has to be handled by professionals. She is traumatised and aggressive towards locals that are trying to help her.
The locals told me that they have been feeding her Parle G biscuits and other sugary items which is very harmful to dogs as many of you may already know. It causes skin diseases and blindness in dogs because they are not to be given sugar. The funds from this campaign will help me provide the right kind of nutrition for her, especially in her time of need.
As a student I can't afford all the expenses that are required to get her treated so please even it's 1 rupee it's a big help you can save a life just by donating some amount of money. Thank you for taking the time to consider this fundraising effort.
