Lipina Pradhan, a 23 year old girl hailing from a town from the eastern shores of Odisha, named Puri. She was admitted in the hospital with complains of dysmenorrhea which has been going on since 15 days. When she came to the hospital she was severely anemic and completely bed-ridden. After a bone marrow biopsy she was diagnosed to have leukemia(ALL). She had to take help from a state government funding right from day 1. She was started on BFM-95 protocol, which is a lengthy and tedious process. She has been undergoing chemotherapy since 2 months now, and still has  6 months more of active chemotherapy to go followed by maintenance chemotherapy.

During her initial period of induction therapy, there were a few complications of the therapy which increased her expenses. At this point in her chemotherapy, all the government funding,  self financing and help from the NGO are at ends. There is a high chance she might have to defect her treatment due unavailability of resources.

Hence, we from Canheal are in need of your assistance, support and goodwill to stand with this brave 23 year old girl from Puri to fight leukemia and return home healthy to her family.
