Warm Greetings from Team Technocrats!
TEAM TECHNOCRATS:
We at Thakur College of Engineering and Technology have put in our heart and soul in our Quad Bike Manufacturing Team, Team Technocrats.
We participate in a National Level Quad Bike competition, Quad Torc 2023.
We are a passionate team of 24 Mechanical Engineers with a sole goal to win the championship for the second consecutive season.
Our Quad Bike consists of Five interesting domains, namely : Chassis, Powertrain, Brakes, Suspension and Steering.
This All-Terrain Vehicle is made by just us students with a curious mind and will to learn something new every single day.
Our team is working hard towards making this happen since we've put in our best efforts to get this far.
OUR MOTIVE :
- This fundraiser will help us reach our goal to raise ₹ 2,50,000 for our vehicle.
It is very important for us to get funds in order to manufacture our Quad Bike in due time.
- We are dedicated towards this competition right from the designing stage to our current manufacturing phase.
ABOUT QUAD TORC :
- Quad Torc is an off-road design challenge that provides an opportunity to the students to conceive, design, and fabricate a four-wheel configuration quad bike (ATV) powered by a 250cc engine under a preset of rules and regulations. The vehicle must be engineered for performance & safety while designed with sound ergonomics.
- Registered teams are challenged to design and manufacture an ATV and produce all the necessary engineering design documents/reports as per the event timeline. Under the supervision of our experienced event staff and track marshals, teams are challenged with a complex course. All the participating teams are awarded points on the basis of their performance and caliber portrayed through the various static and dynamic events.
