Save Sunitha from breast cancer

Sunitha, 38 years old, has been diagnosed with breast cancer. She was operated on, had a wide excision lumpectomy (breast conserving surgery). The excised tumor was found to be Her-2/neu positive (3+). The doctor says it is an aggressively growing and rapidly spreading cancer cell. The doctor has advised chemotherapy (Adriamycin/cyclophosphamide every 3 weeks for 4 cycles and Paclitaxel every week for 12 weeks), radiotherapy (5 days a week for 6 weeks) and Herceptin every 3 weeks for 17 cycles). The cost of treatment totally would sum around 13,25,000 or slightly more. I do not have an insurance to cover the cost. Since it is an expensive treatment and single income family, I am not able to afford for the treatment.
We request you all to join us in the efforts of contribution towards the treatment as my family is short of funds. Any help small or big will be much appreciated. More importantly, uphold Sunitha and family in your prayers. Prayer brings miracles.

Dear Supporters,
Here is an update on Sunitha's health. She is doing well now. as per the schedule, she completed all 17 cycles of her chemotherapy session by the help of friends, relatives and milaap supporters
She is still having minor side effects and weakness due to the cycles of chemo therapies. she is still continuing her medicines as the follow up from doctor. now she is doing much better and able to manage her daily works and taking care of her children's.
i personally felt very proud to be part of her health recovery and supporting her family in this moment. and without your support, this would not be possible. on behalf of her kids, once again i thank each one who supported directly, indirectly and given moral support to the family.
Regards,
Sathish.
