Hello! I’m Subham Goyel, an 18 year old.
I completed my schooling until Class 12 and will get into a college this year!
This year 2021, I became a volunteer with Hamari Pahchan NGO. This NGO works in fields like Drishti, skill development, Covid-19 relief etc.
However, one of their projects has greatly inspired me, and I have decided to lead it on my own. 'SUKHAD' is the name of the project. We will help them (underprivileged women) spend their periods comfortably with proper means and information under this initiative. Providing sanitary pads, educating them on proper menstrual hygiene, and raising awareness that 'periods' and discussing them is not a taboo topic, but rather a normal method.
Roughly 120 million menstruating adolescents in India experience menstrual dysfunctions, affecting their normal daily chores. Nearly 60,000 cases of cervical cancer deaths are reported every year from India, two-third of which are due to poor menstrual hygiene.
स्वस्थय को है बचाना तो हर औरत को है पैड इस्तेमाल मे लाना

हमारी पहचान बना रही है महिलाओ को सशक्त
Project Sukhad is in desperate need of an hour, and we must all come together to help.
WE ARE PLANNING TO DISTRIBUTE AROUND 50 K SUKHAD KITS TO UNDERPRIVILEGED WOMEN.

I humbly request that you all donate to this cause. Even a single penny makes a significant difference.
