My name is Chandrasekhar Subramanyam and I am here to fundraise for my gardener, Subba Rao. 

Subba Rao met with a road accident on May 11 when his 2 wheeler was hit by a water tanker. His head was injured and his right knee damaged heavily. On May 12 he has undergone a decompression surgery and the cranium has been set right. He is currently on ventilator support. Only if he stabilizes will the leg surgery be performed. His wife died early and he has 2 young girls studying in college. Hence he is the sole earning member of his family. The knee surgery estimate is 110,000 as per the hospital. Till now, 3 lakhs has been spent on his treatment. 

He’s currently in ICU and on ventilator so costs per day is 70k. He is receiving treatment in MS Ramaiah Memorial hospital. The doctors will remove the ventilator in 2 days to see if he can breathe on his own so until then we cannot estimate his stay duration in the ICU.
