Hi Myself Bhaskar SPN, We are from Hyderabad, Did M.Sc(Horticulture) and providing Gardening and Farming Services, My wife Sri Vani and Our kids Deepanwitha (!6 Years) going to Intermediate and Srikar (13 Years) 9th calss. Like all we are having our own happy and problems coping up and moving on with life like an average middle classer.
From February 2018 vani complained of a back ache, which used to be severe and occasional, in March my father passed away due to diabetes complications we were engaged in that.Her back ache severed we went to doctor they advised routine check ups and further instructed to have more thourough examinations like MRI, CT and PET. The Doctors gave the most shocking and unexpected news that her Back bone has several vertibras metastised , which has inititally started as Breast Cancer has reached Stage 4, now no cure but to increase the quality and duration of life span, she has just 40, a devout mother and stood like apiller of support for me for the needy hours of family and was the centre of our happiness. I could not take it, even after 4 months of the news I am still shocked.
We were refered to Basavatarakm Indo American Instutute, Hyderabad and the Doctors there were very kind and sympatheticled by famousDr Krishna Mohan.
After various tests, doctors found that her Cancer is in 4B stage, Er/Pr Low positive and H2rnu Negetive and it can be termed as Triple Negetive, a very rare and aggresive from and have given her a life expectance of around 6 Months, and if she responds well to treatment the same can be extended for 4-5 years.
She was prescribed to have 15 rounds of MRI Radio therapy, during august it went very rough on her, due to the high intense radiation given to back bone, near by digestive system damaged resulted in excessive nausia and IBS, ina day 40 times she used to visit bathroom, eventually she was to asked to stay at hospital and it took a wek to get them to below 10 and as on today it is still affected.
Now we are to start the Chemotherapy, which Doctors said will take 6+10 round ina period of two months depending on her response. After that they will do Operation. The total expenses will be around 20 Lakhs, as of now what ever inform of savings is lost from us, the more painful thing is now there is no support system as i did not take Insurance Cover.
We had dream like every other family, my only pray now is let her life be extended atleast for 4 more years so that-kids will join Colleges and they will have their life, if any bad happening after that will only affect me.
