I am Sreenivasulu from a small village Chilamathur, Hindupur(Taluk), Anantapur District, Andhra Pradesh. I work for Infosys Technologies, Bangalore. Seeing the situation prevailing in my own native village schools, I thought of helping the poor students. Chilamathur is a Mandal centre with 13-15 village panchayats, in which every village panchayat comprises of 5-6 villages on average and every village with 1 elementary school.  I am extremely good at knowing the facilities in all these schools. The school teachers permit the students to play games around 3pm-4pm but with no playing kits. We went to Tekulodu village school one day and I was surprised to see some 4 students trying to make a cricket bat during their leisure time using a sickle. Saddened with that incident, I helped those 4 students with a cricket bat the next day. It's not just this one school, all the village schools provide no Sport kits to the students. So I am planning to purchase sports kits and distribute these kits to the village students in the presence of village members. Need some financial support for this initiative. Requesting all those who know the value of sports and its importance  to contribute.
