Corona Pandemic has the globe in its grasp. The brothels are also closed during the lockdown and livelihood of the trafficked women at GB Road has come to a halt. Moreover, the community is very vulnerable to COVID-19 spread due to dingy and congested living conditions.

We are setting up a relief fund to provide sustenance support, and design meaningful interventions for the marginalized community of trafficked women at GB Road over the next few months.

WHAT ARE WE DOING?
1. Awareness Campaigns: We have identified and empowered community leaders who are creating access networks within brothels and spreading important awareness around hygiene, social distancing, and kindness during the COVID-19 crisis.

2. Ration Kits: We are working with Government and non-government agencies to provide free ration to all women on GB Road.

3. Hygiene Kits and Medicine supplies: We are distributing hygiene kits to ensure the daily needs of women are met and hygiene is ensured inside the brothels.

We are doing all distributions while maintaining social distancing guidelines.

80G BENEFIT FROM THIS DONATION
Contributions to the relief fund will be eligible for tax relief under Section 80G of the Income Tax Act for Indian residents and Indian companies. Under this section, 50% of the contributions made towards charitable trusts(up to 10% of your adjusted gross total income) will be eligible for exemption.

With your support, we can together light up the darkest street of the National Capital.

Lets spread Karuna (compassion) in the time of Corona.  <3
