Story

We are a group of Volunteers based in Noida . we have been active on social front for the past 5 years
And have worked for various NGO/organisations like ‘ Goonj’ ( www. Goonj.org) ; Oxfam india etc .
We are currently associated with an orphanage in Ghaziabad- ‘mala smriti home’ ( www.malasmritihome.com) .
We aim to contribute towards providing basic nutrition to poor and malnourished kids .
There are few organisations in Delhi /NCR area who are already arranging meals for poor kids but the ‘Fruits’ part is never taken care of . fruits are absolutely necessary for basic nutrition and better mental/physical development of children .
We are coming up with this initiative , aimed at providing regular nutrition in the form of Fruits to children
Living on streets and slums in Delhi /NCR Region . this would involve distributing single/multiple fruits to every vulnerable child on daily basis .
We would move to different vulnerable locations in Delhi/NCR and make the distribution .
We estimate to serve atleast 100 kids per day . considering a costing of approximately Rs 50 per child per day including the transportation/distribution and other costs . optimisation of expenses shall be done wherever possible .however a proper balance sheet for all expenses shall be maintained to assess the actual expenditure.
The same shall be open to auditing anytime by any donor .
We expect to undertake this for around 3 months initially with Crowd funding .
We expect to incur a cost of around 4.5 lacs for three months .
We shall look for parallel funding channels in the meantime .
Requesting all to please come forward and donate .
also contact us for volunteering with us .

Thank you
Regards
