But now this pandemic which blew around the world left no space untouched - education was no exception. Though school are closed, students are attending their classes through online mode.
It certainly is a good thing happening as their education didn't come to a standstill on one side, there are lot of children being deprived of their education due to lack of proper resources on the other side.
The access to the internet and need for devices or gadgets like mobile phone, tablet, laptop are the prerequisites in this era of virtual education. This creates a digital divide as underprivileged children are unable to get these resources which is depriving them from their basic right of education.
Under the Gadgetshala programme initiated by Hamari Pehchan Ngo, this gap is being filled by providing books, stationary products and now gadgets for online education. With the objective of filling this digital divide, they came forward to help these underprivileged children.Through this Hamari Pehchan Ngo is planning to establish
1. Internet facilities
2. Smart gadgets like mobile phones, computers
3. A mobile van to make this gadget shala accessible in various areas.
4. Your valuable time to teach these children.
Education is the foundation on which the individual's overall development depends. In a country like India where the gap in access to education and internet facility was already vast, the pandemic is only contributing to wide this gap.
I want to request everyone to understand the problem faced by these children and participate to this bigger cause by donating a small amount whatever in your capacity. Through our small efforts, we can bring a huge change in the life of these children.
Thus,by all these efforts we can help to achieve the objectives of this initiative.
