Why does SHLOK need your help?

SHLOK Foundation has been making an impact to rural and government schools across Bangalore and Chennai through weekend/weekday learning programs for English and Computer Science.

And last year, as a small step towards bridging the gap of access to quality education in rural schools, we started SHLOK X. This initiative is inspired by Sugata Mitra's "School in the Cloud" - where we enable groups of kids to teach themselves and each other through a laptop. And what we see never fails to overwhelm us.

We need your support to help us deploy SHLOK X across all our chapters in Bangalore.

How will your support make an impact?

We will invest the funds we recieve to procure laptops/tablets and other infrastructure to get SHLOK X models in all schools up and running. The update from each chapter will be posted on our blog and website.
