There is a wide social and economic disparity between the economically vibrant Mumbai - Pune - Nashik corridor and the large swathes of dry-land in Marathwada, north Maharashtra and Vidarbha.

The root causes of farm suicides in Vidarbha and Marathwada have been shrinking land holding, chronic drought, lack of access to formal credit, and dependence on private moneylenders.

Shivprabha has been supporting the Farmers for the past 12 years. Since 2017, every year you have, supported Shivprabha Farmer’s Club initiative.
In 2017 we started  farmer’s club with 30 farmer’s, but last year with your kind support, we added 20 more farmer’s in it. Hence in 2018 the Club had 50 farmer’s in as many as, 4 districts of Maharashtra.

You ensured a good crop yield with a Satisfactory Financial stability to these 50 farmer’s. You ensured, none of them committed suicide.This was only  possible due to your kind support.

This year we want to take the club to 100 farmers and we need Rs. 15K per farmers. Our present 50 member’s are not only going to support them, but also support 10 more farmers.

What we as a team need to support 40 farmers. Through this, we will microfinance them and will also provide technological knowhow. Request you to look into it and support us with your kind heart.

This full month we will share success stories of our existing farmer’s, as well as details of new farmers, whom we would like to be a part of Shivprabha Farmers Club family.
