HELP THE FARMER SAVE THE FARMER

There is a wide social and economic disparity between the economically vibrant Mumbai - Pune - Nashik corridor and the large swathes of dry-land in Marathwada, north Maharashtra and Vidarbha.

The root causes of farm suicides in Vidarbha and Marathwada have been shrinking land holding, chronic drought, lack of access to formal credit, and dependence on private moneylenders.

Shivprabha has been supporting the Farmers for the past 12 years. Since 2017, every year you have, supported Shivprabha Farmer’s Club initiative.
In 2017 we started  farmer’s club with 30 farmer’s, but last year with your kind support, we added 20 more farmer’s in it. Hence in 2018 the Club had 50 farmer’s in as many as, 4 districts of Maharashtra.

You ensured a good crop yield with a Satisfactory Financial stability to these 50 farmer’s. You ensured, none of them committed suicide. This was only  possible due to your kind support.

This year we want to take the club to 100 farmers and we need Rs. 15K per farmers. Our present 50 member’s are not only going to support them, but also support 10 more farmers.

What we as a team need to support 40 farmers. Through this, we will microfinance them and will also provide technological knowhow. Request you to look into it and support us with your kind heart.

This full month we will share success stories of our existing farmer’s, as well as details of new farmers, whom we would like to be a part of Shivprabha Farmers Club family.

You can adopt any farmer family, or you can contribute whatever you wish to.

Dear Supporters,

Shivprabha has been working at the grass root level with the 50 farmers who have shown positive results. Among the Raju Bhise has shown outstanding performance, who is a member of Shivprabha farmer’s club since 2017.

They were three brothers and had 14 acres of ancestral land which was divided into 4 acres each. Every year either it would rain untimely or wouldn’t rain at all. With the help of the micro finance from Shivprabha he extended the water facility to his farms and planted Cotton, Toor and Jwari in 4 Acre land as first crop with a good reaps and Yield. Not satisfied only on it he started growing Vegetables by the suggestion of Shivprabha Expert and is growing Brinjals and Ladyfingers in 20 gunta land. Brinjal is a staple of Vidahrbha as second crop and with his timely deliveries, is earning close to Rs. 50000 every month. This is all happening in Tribal Lonwadi of Yavatmal District.

Raju purchased Bike to take vegetables directly to market. Also as side business he installed first Atta Chaki at Lonwadi, So he is progressing.

With your kind support Shivprabha committed to make such socioeconomic change in the life of farmer's of Nation.

Please join us to make said change in the life of our Anadatta. We got commitment for 70 farmer's and need commitment for additional 30 farmer's.
Regards Amol

Deeply moved by the efforts initiated by the villagers for Anmol and in return Anmol himself did not stopped the welfare process and started this organisation. A small but strong step towards the welfare of farmers community and in turn the society as well. Congratulations Milaap
