ನೃತ್ಯ in Kannada, നൃത്തം in Malayalam, நடனம் in Tamil, నృత్య in Telugu, नृत्य in Hindi and Dance in English is an art with various forms to it. Though there are different forms, all of them have an enduring effect on any individual. Tandav, is one such platform committed to propagate that lasting effect to each and every individual, now if this is being "inclusive" then Tandav is India's first Community Driven Inclusive Dance Festival.

Tandav has witnessed empowerment of Differently-abled, Social and Economically Disadvantaged Children through Dance in it's past two editions in 2014 and 2015. I have been associated with Tandav from it's inception in 2014 in various ways, be it on-the-day volunteering, juggling roles in the organizing team or being a participant; all of them have made me feel contended, only because I have seen happy, smiling faces leave Tandav with an uncanny urge to comeback for later editions.

R U D R A   T A N D A V - third installment of the Tandav series would be held at Shankaraa Foundation, Bengaluru on December 11, 2016. Our aim for this year is to improve the experience quotient hence participants would be Children from various Foster Homes, People with Hearing Impairment, People with Cerebral Palsy, People using Wheelchair and Calipers, People with Autism, Students form various Colleges, Experts from Disability Sector and Corporate Employees.
