This pandemic has magnified every existing inequality in our society-like systemic racism, gender inequality, and poverty," said Melinda Gates in an interview in September, last year. Yes, it is our duty to clean the mess that we humans have created. After all, we're all in this together. I, Shambhava, a young student of this volatile generation, with a passion to change the world for the better, strongly believe that through such hardships and struggles, the Pandemic has transpired a
sense of resilience in all of us. It is our time to give back to the world, help the needy, and put an end to such Epidemic-accelerated pain and loss once and for all.

1. If there's one thing the contemporary world has taught us, it is that the new normal
is to continually live up to new normals.

2. As such, as many have struggled to adjust to this novel epidemic, now is the time to
help the needy and make the basic human rights evidently accessible.

Well, with over 30,000,000 cases and 400,000 deaths in the country, it is no secret that
there is a dire need to vaccinate the vast population of India. However, with two-thirds of the people in poverty: 68.8% of the Indian population lives on less than Rs. 180/-a day.
Over 30% even have less than Rs. 80/- per day available they are considered extremely
poor. In such grim circumstances, there is an added challenge to distribute the vaccine free of cost, and making it easily accessible. The three A's concerning food security: Affordability, Accessibility, and Availability shine here too.
The second wave of the Pandemic was one of the deadliest and grimmest instances of the
virus striking hard, India had detected more than 20.65 lakh cases in the first half of April

The Deadly Wave II and Beyond

itself. This was the fastest rate of Covid-19 spread in India.

How I Plan to Help

1. Provide Food and Basic Necessities

I plan to work with NGOs to provide food, necessities, monetary and non

remunerable aid to the poverty-stricken and adversely affected population

II. Raise Awareness

I will raise campaigns for neighbours, family members and acquaintances through
social media so that they do the needful to support others. This includes doing all
they can to assist families through donating basic amenities. Furthermore, they can
follow COVID-safety protocols regulated by the government to try and prevent the
spread of this vicious disease.

Yet with each passing day, a new record is made in respect of a number of new coronavirus cases. We are lacking basic medical administration that is beds, oxygen, and medicine.
People are running to arrange essentials for their loved ones to save their life. The situation is so bad that we aren't able to take care of the affected person even at our home. All of this is again because of a lack of knowledge and essentials.
So, let's donate & support 'Hamari Pahchan': An NGO taking every possible step to help the one who is in need. We have pledged to distribute
  1. Oximeter
  2. Maks
  3. Sanitisers
  4. Thermometer
  5. Medicine (consisting of vitamins and zinc capsules)
Kit for 1 person costs around Rs. 2,800.
Kit for 3 people costs around Rs. 8,400.
Kit for 5 people costs around Rs. 14,000.
All of the above equipment will help people to monitor themselves at home only and in case of any problem they can consult the doctor at the very earliest to avoid any kind of emergency.

LET'S CREATE A CHAIN OF KINDNESS AND STAND UNITED AGAINST SUCH A DEADLY VIRUS.
आओ मिलकर भलाई का एक हाथ बढ़ाएँ , इस जानलेवा वायरस को जड़ से मिटाएँ
