My name is Bincy and I am writing this letter on behalf of my husband who’s suffering from Kidney failure and I really hope that you will spare some time to read my story and will do the needful.
My husband ShainThampan, who's just 32 years old, working at GD Innovative Solutions, Technopark, Trivandrum is the only earning member of our 6-member family. My father in law, who’s a cancer survivor, is still under treatment and mother is a homemaker. I am unemployed and looking after our two daughters aged 6 months and 4 years respectively.
Few months ago, my husband was diagnosed with chronic kidney failure. Both of his kidneys' function has dropped and is facing End-Stage Renal Failure now. At this stage, doctors said the transplant is the only option to survive and needs to be done at the very earliest. The operation costs and other expenses are around 20lakhs including the post-operative treatment. While we wait for the kidney donor, he’s undergoing dialysis for 2 times a week at 4 hours a day for each dialysis run. Due to the dialysis his body is getting infected frequently which caused TB infection and taking additional medication for that too. He's unable to work because of his deteriorating health conditions and is becoming difficult to bear even the dialysis expenses. He will not even get the medical insurance coverage because of the waiting period of 3 years for the critical illnesses.
My husband's condition is worsening day by day and I am in desperate need of financial help. I have tried all possible ways to arrange the money for the surgery. But this huge amount is beyond the reach of my family and we have a very short period to raise the fund. I request you to help us financially so that my husband can transplant the kidneys and live a healthy life. This is the only and last ray of hope to save not only his, but all our lives. We shall be grateful to you for your contribution.
