On 31st October'21, Dushan Burle from Fit and Fight Club, Navi Mumbai won an important Mix Martial Arts Event held in Bangalore. He walked out of the three day tournament with a Gold Medal hanging around his neck, making himself and the Club he represents very proud. The Event was an All India MMA Tournament where a Gold Medal win ensured berth for the International GAMMA (Global Association for Mixed Martial Arts) tournament to be held in Berlin, Germany from 7th December'21 to 11th December'21.
Dushan Burle hails from a small village called Ghardi in Solapur, he is a son of a humble Farmer and he grew up with big dreams. Since his childhood he was interested in Martial Arts and at a very young age he took interest in Wushu, KickBoxing and Boxing. An ultra focused mind on Martial Arts since Childhood he brought all his energies to win many laurels in the field of Wushu, KickBoxing and Boxing.
As time went by, Dushan transitioned to the much more versatile sport of Mixed Martial Arts. He got totally engrossed in the Sport and found a Mentor under Head Coach, Mr. Sanjivan Padwal. Dushan has been training under the guidance of Mr. Sanjivan Padwal since June 2017 bringing in many achievements and wins, particularly on national level.
In December 2019 Dushan was supposed to fight a top notch fighter from America in Thailand. We were all looking forward to this bout as a win here would have been historic giving us a berth in International Promotions. Unfortunately due to the outbreak of COVID-19 pandemic all activities came to a stand still. However History repeats itself and Destiny also gives multiple chances, Dushan found his big ticket in the National level AIMMAF tournament held at Bangalore. In this tournament Dushan totally dominated all his opponents and returned home with a Gold Medal. After Dushans' win at Bangalore, Sanjivan Sir has raised the level of his preparation. The focus is on winning the Gold Medal at International level. A win in Berlin will not only bring laurels to the country but also will ensure an entry into higher promotions like ONE FC, Bellator, Cage Warrior etc. It is expected that scouts from these big promotions will be present at this event with a sole intention of finding out new and exciting talent.
While all preparations are in full swing, the monetary hurdle is causing a little worry. Dushan and his Coach who will be cornering him will need quite a surplus to reach Berlin. The total expense for two people including training camp, nutrition, visa, flight tickets, hotel stay (4 days and 5 nights) crops up to an approx 3 lacs. A generous help from your side will go a long way in assisting Dushan to achieve his dreams for India.
We all visualise the TriColour on the back of Dushan as he makes his walk towards the cage in Berlin. This is our Dream for Dushan, this is our Dream for India to bring the laurels home.
