Small Actions × Lots of People = Big Change
Originating as a cluster of unexplained cases of pneumonia in Wuhan, China; Coronavirus, officially designated as COVID-19 soon achieved a pandemic status. As the virus swept across the world and galvanized global action, all the countries took measures to slowdown its course. Social distancing, total lockdowns and curfews were reasonable steps to diminish the contagion and lessen the pressure on the health systems that were already overburdened.
COVID-19 is considered as the most crucial global health calamity of the century and the greatest challenge that the humankind has faced since the 2nd World War. We are facing a global health crisis unlike any in the 75 year history of the United Nations- one that is killing people, spreading human suffering and upending people’s lives.
As of now, there are still countless people who require medical and financial aid. You and I can help them too. Even if the future remains unclear, we can be part of the hand that leads to a brighter tomorrow. Let us fight for that future together.
