MEARDS plans to establish a Mobile Science Centre-cum-Library, to enhance the rural children’s comprehension of scientific principles and to cultivate reading habit among them. This will update the public about the progress made in various fields of science & technology. 

MEARDS has established a Science Centre in its premises at Narebail, This Mobile Science Centre-cum-Library would help in providing Hands-on Training to Teachers and Students. 

To establish this facility, a vehicle is essential and it has to be altered to house the science experiment units as well as library books. Further, science instruments and books have to be procured to make this venture highly effective. 

Further, as MEARDS is a non-profit organization, it needs recurring grant for 4 years to make this project self-sustaining.
