Friends,
Swachh Bharat is a dream of every Indian today. The vision of Clean India is fuelled by the active involvement of youth in the pious mission. Under the aegis of Swachh Bharat Internship Program, the students of Maharaja Agrasen college have taken up the task of cleaning villages in Delhi such as Dallupura, Kondli and Ghazipur.
The students have been toiling hard for last one month to initiate a massive cleanliness drive in Dallupura village with the help of children and have gained massive support among them. All the interns are outstation students and have taken up the task of expanding this drive to other villages. The fundraising is for the very same purpose.
The funds obtained will be utilized in:
1) Initiating waste collection drive in village
2) Performing activities of Street Cleaning, Drain Cleaning and cleaning of back alleys.
3) Involving children at a massive level to participate in the campaign.
4) To make a Self Help group among poor women of the village so as to guarantee them employment out of 'Best Out of Waste'.
5) Construction of toilets in Ghazipur village etc.
These activities can not only lead to a better and clean civil society but also make poor people (especially children and women) more self dependent and self sufficient. In this drive of change, please make your valuable contribution and become an active social activist.
Thank you for your support
