I am fundraising to save Aseela

Why am I fundraising?

I am sharmila raising funds for My Daughter Aseela 4 years old suffering from deadly disease Thalasemmia Major.A child with Thalasemmia Major do not have the Red Blood Carpasules(RBC) generated in normal 20 days life cycle.Once the RBC count goes down,we need to manually give a fresh blood to baby from a blood donor.she was identified as Thalasemmia Major patient at 3 months old,48 blood transfusions were done so far as the temporary solution.Blood transfusion gives more pain to baby which she suffers from birth. The potential treatment to cure the disease is to do the Bone Marrow Transplantation which costs 35 lakhs as minimum bill amount. Her father is a cycle coolie working at a shop for daily wages. our family members stem cells do not match with Aseela,so third party donor who matches her blood group, stem cell need to be treated and transplanted to baby . The treatment process of the donor stem cell costs high which we were not able to afford. We would request donations for this BMT treatment . We had  spent  most of ours savings in the treatment we had given her so far.

What do I plan to do with the funds?

A bone marrow or cord blood transplant is a process to replace unhealthy bone marrow with healthy bone marrow.A  procedure to replace damaged or destroyed bone marrow with healthy bone marrow stem cells. Bone marrow is the soft, fatty tissue inside your bones. Stem cells are immature cells in the bone marrow that give rise to all of your blood cells.

Doctor advised to do the  BMT treatment as early as possible. Baby is normal with the blood transfusions now. If blood level goes down , she suffers vomiting and guiddiness.
I had attached the bill report from the doctor for this BMT Treatment. I would request kindly to do the needful

Do government provide aid for this treatment?

Government helps with funds only if the family members stem cells match. For treatment with third party donor stem cell there is no aid.

Is there a way to reduce the cost for the treatment?

Hospital has many patients who need BMT treatment so they were not able to reduce any charges as of now.

why do we get support through donations?

My family is a lower middle class. My husband is  only working .He is  a coolie at cycle workshop for daily wages. I am doing tailoring at home.We have a elder son who study 9th standard.Son is healthy. We had already spent few lakhs for her treatment so far. This much big amount was very huge for our lifetime
