Save Susie The Adorable Indie

Susie(the Indie) was hit by a two wheeler and narrowly missed coming under a car. After the accident, she took refuge in a water drain, looking pale and barely able to stand up. We expected the worst. With the help of  rescuers(Sardar Khan and Divya) we were able to coax Susie to come out of the sewer and rushed her to Cessna. The doctors gave us a grim picture(WBC around 60000, normal count is lower than 10000 and heamoglobin 1.8, normal count is above 12), luckily no skeletal damage in spite of the hit. She had suffered a maggot wound that would bleed profusely from time to time and was fighting a systemic infection because of which she was barely able to support her own weight.

She underwent a blood transfusion on her second day at Cessna(again huge thank you to Sardar khan for getting his pet for donating the blood). Susie thankfully gained some of her color back and post the blood transfusion we spoke to doctors at Pampapathi clinic and had Susie shifted there.

At Pampapathi clinic she was under the care of Dr. Pampapathi and Dr. Hema who kept her on continuous IV and antibiotics. Susie has spent 21 days at the clinic and had to go through an operation to remove the maggot wound/tumor and has since made a miraculous recovery. The doctors are shocked and are in awe of this little being fighting hard to survive.

Now that Susie is fine and doing great, we will put her up for adoption find her a good home she deserves.

Needless to say all the constant care and treatment has led to hospital bills burgeoning.

Your contribution will help pay for Susie's hospital bills and help us keep her at the clinic for a few more days till we can secure a good home for her.

Any contribution with the hospital bills would be greatly appreciated!!

Thank you!

Dear Supporters,

Thank you so much for your love and support.

We met Susie today and she is doing well. She is scared of the surrounding she is in because she is not used to staying at a boarding with so many other dogs. We will be shifting her to a shelter by the coming Tuesday.

Thank you all for the support so far. Each bit will help towards contributing to Susie's well being.
