Hi All,
I am Sivakumari from Perumbakkam, Chennai. I am dumb and I am a divorcee. I am working in a small start up company as data entry operator.My daughter Smitha, 5 yrs old suffered from a abdominal pain by october 3rd week suddenly and we rushed to a local doctor nearby our area for the treatment. But the doctor was unsure about the course of action and suggested to go to a bigger hospital for the exact reason of pain. We then consulted kamatchi hospital in pallikarani where she was diagnosed with liver disease. We had consulted with our family and friends and finally got to know about Global Hospital, Chennai who has very good specialist doctors for liver treatment.
We had consulted Global hospital and after diagnosing from their end they suggested to go for liver transplant now rather than later to avoid complications and higher mortality rate. I volunteered to donate. Our tests are done. Everything is alright. We just must get some paperwork done and get the funds ready for the surgery.
The estimated cost for the liver transplant is Rs. 20,00,000 and the doctors advised to do the operation as early as possible as smitha's health is getting worser day by day. We have tried our level best and arranged around 16 lakhs in just 10 days of time through our money, family, friends and colleagues. We are finally in short of 4 lakh rupees for proceeding with the operation. At this point of time I came to know about Milaap organisation who helps for such causes. Hence am posting my request here.Those who are really willing to help can help me for this cause.We never expected something like this to happen. We need all the help we can get to save smitha from this dreaded situation. Small help from each one of you will make us to achieve operational cost in lesser time.We think this transplant will give him a pain-free, healthy shot at growing up and living a long life.
