Dear Supporters,

Firstly, I would like to thank each one of you again for supporting Ravi this far. Without your support nothing would have been possible.

Ravi was doing well until last week but suddenly his recent report was not satisfactory and the platelets counts had also gone very low. The doctor will be undergoing a bone marrow Biopsy on 28th March to figure out the stage of treatment/Cancer and also Ravi’s condition.

Ravi was doing really well untill last week but suddenly he is feeling very low and unwell. With all your kind support Ravi had managed to get continues treatment so far and was able to get the medicine from time to time.

Based on Ravi’s family condition Doctors had earlier told Ravi that he would need to manage the medicine till Feb-March but recently they advised him to arrange the medicine for two more months therefore they have given an another estimate of Rs 3 Lakh.

Ravi needs your support and prayers.

Regards

41 year old Ravi Kumar is diagnosed with high grade lymphoma cancer. Ravi is married for 15 years. He and his wife have a 10 year old son. He was also supporting his parents who are 72 and 75 years old. Ravi Kumar always fought to foster his family. He worked as a sales executive for a pharma company in Rampur (U.P.) with a salary of Rs 5,000 per month. His wife supported him,  working as a teacher in a small school with a salary of Rs 3,200 per month.

In October 2014, Ravi was diagnosed with high grade lymphomia cancer. This cancer is very agressive, fast developing and painful. Since the treatment started in October, Ravi has lost his job and his wife had to quit hers in order to take care of her husband. The travel to the hospital is 210 km one way whenever a new treatment is terminated.

In their stuggle to pay for the treatment, the family loaned money and sold everything that was possible to meet the needs. Till now the family was able to spend Rs 5,00,000 for the treatment. Now they have reached their limits, but the treatment has to be continued to save Ravi's life. The doctors at Rajiv Ghandhi Cancer Hospital in New Delhi have estimated the cost at Rs 10,00,000. The family cannot arrange for this huge amount. Ravi Kumar is a loving husband, a caring father and a dutiful son. His whole family depends on  him. Since their lives are at stake, we make this appeal and ask you to join in helping Ravi Kumar. Every support counts!
