Max~Rescued From A Hell Hole!
Help Me Give Him A Healthy And Happy Life.


I am Kaveri Rana, Dog Mother, rescuer, foster,  and I also run SMART Sanctuary, a safe haven in Greater Noida, for the sick and injured Voiceless.



This is the story of approximately 2-3 Year Old Max who was rescued by me and Shubhra Tyagi on January 11' 2019 from a High Rise In Greater Noida. The pictures above are self explanatory to describe the life this adorable Labrador was subjected to! Max was found in a room swamped with weeks of piss and poop! There was no water or food let alone a warm cloth. He was severely dehydrated with bent legs and falling hair and hazy eyes.


We immediately rushed him to a Vet and found he had high fever, severe calcium and vitamin deficiencies. Blood work was ordered and we were aghast to find that Max had Tick Fever with very low platelets and very high infection! Treatment was started immediately.

When the haze in his eyes didn't subside Max was taken for a secondary Vet consult and it was confirmed that the poor Furry had Cataract in both the eyes. Years of abuse finally impacted him permanently in his eyes and legs.

I am now working on Max's permanent and long term rehabilitation. He has shown limited yet encouraging improvements in the 1 week he has been living with me. Having said that, to further his treatment and give him a reasonable shot at living a normal life, I need your further support to take care of financials long term. We are hopeful that with the best of the Vets treating him, Max will be a healthy furry soon and find a family who loves him for what he is, an absolutely adorable sweetheart!



Included in the documents are the initial prescriptions and blood work results. Further expenses will be incurred for his treatment, feeding, medications and transport as the treatment continues. If Vets decide on eye surgery, funding Goals will change accordingly.
