Manaswini, my beautiful angel, suffered from fever for one consecutive week in March 2012. The doctors performed tests and confirmed cancer. She was immediately referred to Basavatarakam Indo American Cancer Hospital and Research Institute, Hyderabad.

The treatment lasted for almost 2 years with regular checkup after every 3 months. In a routine check up in April 2016, cancer cells were found again in her body.The doctors have recommended Allogenic Bone Marrow Transplant to save my daughter.

I work as a cashier in a petrol pump in Macherla town in Guntur district. As a sole breadwinner of the family with a monthly income of Rs 6000, it is impossible for me to fund the treatment of my daughter. My only dream in life was to educate my children and enable them in breaking the cycle of poverty. However, life took a drastic turn after the diagnosis of my only daughter.
