What is spaying and why is it important?

Candy is a one year and 6 months old female pug puppy whom we had adopted from a shelter.
Spaying is the surgical removal of the reproductive organs of female dogs . The operations are performed while the dog is under anesthesia.Early spaying of female dogs and cats can help protect them from some serious health problems later in life such as uterine infections and breast cancer.Spaying helps prevent uterine infections and breast tumors, which are malignant or cancerous in about 50 percent of dogs and 90 percent of cats. Spaying your pet before her first heat offers the best protection from these diseases.

Why am i spaying Candy?

Candy has missed her cycles which indicates a serious hormonal issue. Due to lack of funds we arent able to get the blood work done. The doctor has suggested us to get her spayed straight away without much ado, or she migt have to suffer a lot afterwards. You can search for the doctor and ask him directly. His name is Dr. Arun Yadav and he sits in Bhiwadi Rajasthan.

Why am I fundraising?

In order to save candy and give her a long and healthy life, i am raising funds for her operation.

What do I plan to do with the funds?

I simply plan to get the blood work done and get her operated from the best VET in Gurgaon.
