One of our friends and batchmate, Sonia (25 F)has suffered hyper acute liver failure with multiple organ failure and is currently on life support in Continental Hospital Hyderabad.
Everyday the chances of survival become slimmer. We are still waiting on a cadaver (brain-dead) liver donor for which she has been registered on the Jeevandan list.
The transplant surgery costs 35 lakhs and every passing day adds an ICU bill of 2+ lakhs. Added to this is a post recovery period of many months and lifetime medication.
The entire family is already emotionally destroyed seeing her in such a condition at a young age. What we want to free them off is financial distress. Please do whatever you can , you can save a young life. Every penny counts.
