Our friend fighting In ICU.Brain hemorrhage-broken spine ribs liver.

Our humble buddy and a great human, met with a deadly accident (15Jan2018) and is fighting for his life at KIMS Trivandrum. He is currently unconscious (ICU) sustaining several small hemorrhages in the brain (with spinal fluid clog in brain); damaged Spine(vertebra), shoulder, liver, ribs, lungs and thigh. Although the situation is very critical (under nasal ventilator and critical life support system), he has shown signs of recovery in last 5 days.

Coming from a poor background and with an ill father (kidney failure), the family is unable to fund the treatment expenses single-handedly. The expenses of treatment are costing about 1 lakh/day and are expected to go higher once the surgeries are started on damaged parts of the body.

We, his friends and family, have already pooled in all we could which can support the treatment only for 5-8days. Hence though this post  we request your kind self to please support us with any contribution that you can and help save his young life.
(the initial treatment is expected to go for 15 days, there by surgeries, then therapy . we are not yet allowed into the ICU to take pictures of his injuries, but have received all the possible documents from the hospital and are attached here.)

Dear supporters,
Thank you all for your support.

As of now, Aneez is doing well. The bone surgeries to correct the broken shoulder went well, and he's able to move and walk without any support.
Doctors have suggested that he may be undergoing physiotherapy in the coming weeks, when a month to bone surgeries is over.

Currently he is responding well to the medications and hopefully he will recover in the coming months. I will be withdrawing funds to settle the medication and treatment bills up till now. This couldn't have been possible without all of your support and love.

I sincerely thank each of you for your contributions,
Regards,
Sujal

Dear Supporters,

Thank you all for the great and persistent support. Aneez has now recovered well from the accident. He is now discharged at at home, undergoing physiotherapy. Although he can speak communicate normally, his muscle loss has not yet recovered.

The muscle loss in the limbs restricts his walking and other movements. These are expected to be cured in time with more muscle movements and through gaining strength.

Two bone surgeries to correct the broken shoulder in due on 11 March 2018, after which he will be completely allowed to recover at home in coming months with regular Physiotherapy sessions.

Once again, I would like to thank all the supporters who selflessly came forward to save a life and proved that humanity stands tall in desperate times despite our own bad times.

Thank you all for the support. Will keep you posted.

Hello all,

Thank you for your support an prayers.

Aneez has now recovered a great deal. His ventilator support has been removed. He is now moved to a ward room.
He has also got his conscious back, however the status of impact on brain and its effects on body is still not completely known.
Outsiders are yet not allowed to visit him fearing infections.
The bleeding from different internal and external wounds have also stopped and is now healing.
The risk of infection on both internal and external wounds and surgeries are still high.
He responds to people(doctor and family) when called out by blinking and minor hand movements.

A pipe through the throat, used to help him support in breathing is still kept as is.

Doctors are willing to decide on surgeries based on the strength gained by him in days to come.

Thank you all again for the support. please keep supporting and praying for his recovery.
