Thank you for taking the time to help my mother. I am Jeevitha, a 23-year-old from south India. The past few months have been rough on my family. My mother's name is Thamizhselvi. The character she has shown is something that’s learned only from a mother. She always mentioned how dreadful cancer could be, with every earthling that succumbs to it. Little did we know it will make its onset into the purest soul and my creator herself.

Earlier this year, everything seemed set until when she was diagnosed with Stage - 4 Lung Cancer (Metastatic Adenocarcinoma). By the time we identified this aggressive cancer, it already spread to her spinal cord leaving her completely bed-ridden. She received 5 sessions of chemotherapy and 5 radiations. We managed to handle her chemos and radiations (₹6Lakhs) so far with all our savings. But now that cancer has spread to her skull and thigh, the doctors have now suggested that we start Immunotherapy with Nivolumbah and Radiotherapy which can help boost her immune system and prevent cancer’s mutation. This treatment which has to be continued for the next 6 months amounts to  ₹9Lakhs ($11,950).

Unfortunately, if we don’t start Radiotherapy and Immunotherapy, the doctors have told our mom wouldn’t even be able to make it even next one month. But we still have faith in her fighting with this.  My father works as a freight truck driver and I work as a teacher in a local school. With younger sister in college and little brother in school, the monetary support from me and dad’s income would only suffice to support their tuition fee and satisfy the family's basic needs. With an income that barely supports my mom’s travel and medical bills, the treatment cost is beyond our capability. But as a daughter, I am unable to let my mom go. I want to try every way possible to bring her back. 

Since the first phase of Immunotherapy and Radiotherapy has to be started by 18th May 2020, I am asking for your help to save our mother! The next phase of the treatment amount is required by the end of May 2020.
