I, Sarthak Vani, am a 21 year young, dynamic and upcoming rifle shooter representing India.
I'm a national gold medalist and have been nominated for international selection trials in 10m air rifle shooting for 2020 Tokyo Olympics. I am a national level player and have been representing the state of Maharashtra for the last 8 years.
For the Olympic try-outs, to be at par with the competition, I require high quality precision equipment which I aspire to source directly from the manufacturers in Germany.
Unfortunately, due to my limited financial resources, which would be required to acquire all the equipment, ranging from an air rifle and uniform to ear-plugs, pellets, shoes and other miscellaneous accessories, is forming a hindrance from me progressing towards the 2020 Olympics.
The cost of importing these equipments has substantially increased post the implementation of GST, 18% of which is imposed upon the sum of the cost of equipment
Estimated cost of which would be :
Imported air rifle Walther is ₹2,80,000/- + custom clearance and other charges.
Imported shooting stand ₹20,000/-
Imported .177 pellets ₹50,000/-
Imported MEC shooting front sight ₹50,000/- approx.
The precision equipment for training coupled with my skills and yearning to take India's name to greater heights in the Air Rifle Shooting arena would, without doubt, make me an eligible competitor for the upcoming Olympic Games.
Representing my country at an international levelwould be a matter of honour and pride for me.
I write this as a humble request to ask for your support in enabling me to further myself in this premise.
