CARE SHELTER is an organization for mentally ill, physically challenged, destitute and orphans which was started 8 years ago after several years of street service by Mr D Irudiya Raj, CARE SHELTER is inspired by its own principle which is "in GOD'S creation no one is an orphan or destitute".

CARE SHELTER is an organization which focuses on the destitute on the street left behind by everybody and rescues them and takes them for proper medication, food, shelter, clothing and care. our aim and mission is to build a homely relationship and transform their lives and not only do we focus on our inmates but we do out reach programs also by providing provision to the poor, medication, health camps, humanity services and educational help to the unprivileged.

CARE SHELTER was initially started in a small room with 2 residents and today with all the struggles and difficulties CARE has 50 residents and are focusing on many destitute out on the streets where we can be supported by your valuable contribution and generosity, we kindly ask you to join hands with CARE for this noble cause.

We treat our inmates as family and make sure to provide them with all the necessary care like medical needs, daily needs, food, clothing, celebrating b’days/special occasions/festivals or just putting a hand over their head/shoulder or someone they just want to sit and talk to and share something CARE always stands by them.

It is heart breaking to listen to their heart-wrenching stories and how they’re shouldering all the emotional & physical problems by themselves at such a critical stage. We try our best to support them with utmost love & care as their family.We bestow them rooms as per their requirements along with desired nutritious food and housekeeping services in home with oodles of love, so they don’t feel away from home. Just to share a story We have an elderly lady who had four sons and lost them all in tragic incidents and today she has no one to care for. People with maggot wounds, injuries, sickness, cast out by families all of them have a hope today and the hope is CARE.  This column will not be enough to share every story hence we urge everyone out there to bring in as much support as possible to show them that they are no different than all of us and it is not a crime to be sick or crippled or aged.

 
REASON FOR FUNDRAISING

The funds that we are raising here are going to help CARE and its residents to get a new shelter as their present shelter owner is having issues with the property and has asked them to vacate at the earliest. Our immediate request is please help us raise funds for paying an
advance for a new shelter the cost of which is Rs 10 lacs as we will have to vacate the present property at the earliest.

We have to buy a New Ambulance as we manage all the hospital trips and all emergencies in an auto and are in need of a proper vehicle for our transportation. A vehicle is needed when someone has to be picked up from the street to provide them with the right medical attention. We are looking forward to buy a New Ambulance which costs around 3 to 4 lacs as we have a lot of hospital trips to be done for regular check up's, treatments and surgeries.

We are also looking for the cost of daily and monthly needs which includes provision,food,medicines,clothes and other necessary supplies that have to be met month by month.

Your funds are going to be a blessing for us as we will be able to pay advance for a new shelter, buy a new ambulance, meet all the medical needs like treatments, surgeries, check up's and all monthly provision of our in mates. We need your support and contribution towards Care.
